# How do I add a channel?

## Before you start

Before connecting WhatsApp number to Flownally, make sure you have:
- **Admin access to your Flownally workspace**.
- Stable internet connection.

## How to add a channel

1. Log in to your Flownally workspace.
2. Go to the **Channels** tab.
3. Click on the **Add new** button.
4. Choose one of the channels.
5. Follow the external instructions for adding a specific channel:

## What happens after adding a channel?

## Troubleshooting

### Channel option is missing

The channel option is not visible in the list. It can be a result of a temporary dashboard display error. Refresh your browser window to update the view.

### Connection fails midway

The external authentication window closes and fails to connect the channel. The likely cause might be a temporary network connection drop. Try to add the channel again - click add new so you can restart the platform authorization steps.
