# How do I duplicate a chatbot?

This article guides you step-by-step through **duplicating an existing chatbot** in Flownally. It helps you replicate your entire workflow so you do not have to rebuild it from scratch.

## Before you start

Before duplicating a chatbot, make sure you have a **saved chatbot** in your workspace list.

## How to duplicate a chatbot

1. Log in to your Flownally workspace.
2. Go to the **Chatbots** tab.

3. You have two options on how to duplicate a chatbot:
	- From the chatbots list:
		1. Hover over the chatbot.

		2. Click the three dots in the lower right corner of the chatbot.
		3. Click on the **Duplicate** button.

	- From the chatbot editor:
		1. Click on one of the existing chatbots to open the chatbot editor.
		2. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner.
		3. Click on the **Duplicate**.

4. You will be automatically redirected to the editor of the copied chatbot.

## What happens after duplicating a chatbot?

After duplicating a chatbot, you will be automatically redirected to the editor of the copied chatbot. The copy is named **Copy of** followed by the original name and is saved as a **Draft**. You can edit, rename, or activate the new copy. Your original chatbot stays unchanged in your workspace.

## Troubleshooting

### Duplicate button does not respond

Outdated browser script data interferes with the action. Refresh your browser page and click the **Duplicate** button again.

### Browser does not redirect to the new editor

Your browser connection timed out during the redirection process. Outdated cache can also prevent the current browser tab from loading the new page URL. Refresh your browser tab or clear your browser cache to open the editor.
