Before viewing a version history of a chatbot, make sure you have:

## How to view a version history of a chatbot

1. Log in to your Flownally workspace.
2. Go to the **Chatbots** tab.
3. Click on one of the existing chatbots.
4. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner.
5. Click on the **View version history**.
6. Optionally, you can click **Restore as draft** to restore one of the previous versions of the chatbot.

## What happens after viewing a version history of a chatbot?

After clicking on **View version history** in the chatbot, the previous configurations of your workflow will appear in a side panel. You can restore previous version to see how the automation worked in the past.

## Troubleshooting

### Version list is empty

The version history panel displays no past versions. This happens because the **chatbot is completely new** and has no saved edits yet. You must **make and save a change** first to generate a history log.

### History list does not load

The panel shows a loading wheel and fails to display your history. This is usually caused by a **temporary browser cache lag**. You need to **refresh your browser window** to fix the display.
