# How do I add a new property in Flownally?

This article explains how to **add a new property** profile in your workspace. Follow these steps to enter the name, address, and rules for your asset. This allows you to assign bookings to the property.

- Add check-in times and optional guest instructions.
- Fix form validation errors during property creation.

## Before you start

Before adding a new booking, make sure you have necessary property information, such its name or its address.

## How to add a new property

1. Log in to your Flownally workspace.
2. Go to the **Properties** tab.

3. Click on the **Add property** button.
4. Enter the property name.
5. Enter the property address.
6. Provide the standard check-in time.
7. Provide the standard check-out time.
8. Optionally, you can add the following information:
	- Photo of the property.
	- Wi-Fi network name.
	- Wi-Fi network password.
	- Entry instructions.
	- Parking instructions.

9. Click on the **Add property** button.

## What happens after adding a new property?

After adding a new property, the asset profile appears in your Properties tab. You can now assign new guest bookings to this specific location. Your team can view the address and check-in rules instantly.

## Troubleshooting

### Save button is greyed out

This happens because mandatory fields like name or address are empty. You must fill out all required fields to activate the button.

### Image upload fails

This is caused by an unsupported file format or a large file size. You must use a standard image file like JPEG under the size limit.
