- [requirement_3]

> **Important:** You cannot remove event types marked as ***SYSTEM***.

## How to remove an event type

1. Log in to your Flownally workspace.
2. Go to the **Settings** tab.
3. Go to the **Event types** section.
4. Hover over the event type.
5. Click on the **Delete** icon.

## What happens after removing an event type?

After removing an event type, the entry is permanently deleted from your configuration panel. The system stops tracking this activity and removes it from your automation trigger menus immediately.

## Troubleshooting

### Delete icon hidden

The delete button does not show up when hovering over the row. This happens because the selected item is a system event. You cannot delete these core properties from your workspace.

### Event still triggers

The event type continues to appear in reports after deletion. This is caused by a temporary browser storage cache lag. You must clear your cache and reload the dashboard.
