This article explains how to remove a member from a team. Follow these steps to take an agent out of a specific group using the member or team list view. This updates who receives your routed channel messages.

Before you start
Before removing a member from a team, make sure you have:
- Admin access to your Flownally workspace.
- A team that currently has members assigned to it.
Important thing: Removing a member from a team does not delete their account from your workspace, so they can still log in and view general unassigned chats.
How to remove a member from a team
- Log in to your Flownally workspace.
- Go to the Team tab.
- You have two options on how to remove a member to a team:
- From the member perspective:
- Go to the Members section.
- Click on a team member.
- Click on the Delete icon next to a team name.
- From the team perspective:
- Go to the Teams section.
- Click to a team.
- Click on the Delete icon next to a member.

What happens after removing a member from a team?
After removing a member from a team, the user loses access to that group's channel routing. Their name disappears from the team list immediately and they stop receiving its designated messages.
Troubleshooting
Delete icon is missing
The remove icon does not appear next to the name. This can happen because of a temporary screen rendering glitch. To fix that you must resize your browser window or refresh the page to show it.
Team list fails to open
The select team menu remains empty when clicked. This can happen due to a temporary server connection delay. You must reload the page and attempt the step again.
