Before you start
Before deleting a chatbot, make sure you have:
- A saved chatbot in your workspace list.
- A paused or draft status on the chatbot you want to remove.
Important: Deleting a chatbot is permanent and cannot be undone. All conversational structures and settings for this assistant will be completely erased from your account.
How to delete a chatbot
- Log in to your Flownally workspace.
- Go to the Chatbots tab.
- You have two options on how to delete a chatbot:
- From the chatbots list:
- Hover over the chatbot.
- Click on the Delete icon.
- From the chatbot editor:
- Click on one of the existing chatbots.
- Click on the Pause button in the upper right corner.
- Click on the three dots in the upper right corner.
- Click on the Delete chatbot.

What happens after deleting a chatbot?
After a chatbot is deleted, the assistant is permanently removed from your workspace. The chatbot stops responding to incoming customer messages immediately. Your dashboard list updates instantly to remove the deleted item.
Troubleshooting
Delete icon is not working
The delete is greyed out. This happens because the chatbot is currently active. You must pause the chatbot first before the system allows you to delete it.
Chatbot stays in the list
The chatbot stays in your list after you click the delete icon. This is usually caused by a temporary browser cache lag. You need to refresh your browser window to update the dashboard view.
